A magic Eye illusion is a three dimensional (3D) scene from a two-dimensional image. The illusion is from the depth perception between your eyes. Usually you hold the image a few inches from your face and stare “through” the image. Not everyone can see the image and children are usually much better at it than adults. I hope you can.

The instructions begin at 2 minutes 45 if you want to jump ahead.

The illusion happens because our brains expect the dragon face to stick out (convex). Rather than facing inwards (concave).
